Attending A Fashion Blogger Event

by , in
When you’re a blogger, there may well be times you might get invited to a blogger event. What a compliment! Whether it’s a big event or something a little more casual, these types of meet ups are a great idea to get people talking both to you and about you (in a good way, of course!) Big brands are always using these kind of events to promote their own stuff, and not only is it a nice way for them to get recognition, but also you, too! You’ll probably walk away with some free stuff as well, so it’s a win-win situation. Overall – good luck and have fun!
Prepare Before You Go
Let your followers know before you’re going that you’ll be at the event. Use the appropriate hashtag for the day to make friends, because it’ll help break the ice when it comes to actually getting there. Remember, everyone else will be as nervous as you are, but the intention is for you to enjoy yourself! So just be who you are and let your personality shine.
Smile & Have Style
Put a smile on your face and show you’re confident! You were ultimately chosen to attend because of your stand-out presence online, so just make sure it translates easily to real life. You can easily fake it, too, by following some tips. Also, as it’s a fashion event, you’ll want to carefully plan your outfit ahead of time. To be honest, providing you dress the way you want to come across, there’s no need to panic about things like money, or labels. Dress in a way that makes you feel best about yourself and everyone else should love you, too. If not – oh well, what do they know?!
Network, Network, Network!
Networking is so important, whether with your fellow bloggers (who’ll be important for your blogging future) or with the PRs that will probably be there. Introducing yourself with some cute business cards, or even some branded USB drives with more about you will like these will go a long way in getting you remembered for future events and opportunities.
Write Up About The Event

The reason you will have been invited would be to give a full, honest overview of what happened and what you did. This will drive traffic from other attendees, and it’ll be a time to showcase your talents, whether it’s writing or photography. Writing your piece promptly will show that you’re professional, reliable and sure to be used again!

For all the wool lovers out there..

by , in
Hi beautifuls,

Because it's so cold and rainy outside , I want to buy some nice sweaters so I've searched until I found this site. I really found a lot of sweaters and cardigans for women and men that look great!
"Whether it's a cashmere and merino blend, silk and cotton blend, cotton and cashmere blend, lambswool or British wool, we have the cardigans women want. Full length or cropped, our womens cardigans come in a variety of styles including v-neck and crew neck. For a look that is warm, comfortable and versatile, every woman should have a cardigan as a staple piece in her wardrobe. With a wide range of colours available including rich autumn hues and light pastels, these knitwear pieces will keep you warm through winter, covered in spring and fashionable throughout " - This convinced me, they have super quality and good price , even some special offers.
Here are some of my favourites :

This one is perfect for Christmas, isn't it?

My brother will love this one, he was looking for a nice red sweater for the Christmas Eve.. is celebrating 25 years with over 1.000.000 costumers worldwide!!!I hope they will open some stores in every country of Europe because their products look really great and qualitative . If you don't trust me , visit their site , you'll love it for sure!
Now I'm thinking what to buy for every member of my family .. Christmas is close and I don't have any gifts yet.

Holidays On A Budget

by , in
It seems like a pretty weird time of year to be talking about going on holiday, but so many of us do it throughout the colder months! Whether we want to escape to some sunshine, or even a wintery wonderland far more wondrous than our own, it really could be the perfect time. Of course, with so many Brits struggling even to afford the costs of holidays at the moment, but wanting to take them more than anything else, it’s also a good time to get booking for the months ahead. Like with most industries, just after Christmas and New Year will be a great time to book things, because there may well be some lovely January Sales…
Use Comparison Sites
Don’t just rely on the travel agent to sort you out – it’s 2014, after all! Some of the best deals can be found using sites like Kayak, or similar. You can create your own unique and bespoke package to suit all budgets and needs, and you’re free to do it at your own leisure.
Read Reviews!
Don’t just expect that the place you’ve booked is going to look exactly as it does on the brochure – remember, in a lot of cases they’ll present it a certain way in order to make sales! Don’t get swept up in parting with your money if it’s going to turn into a massive waste of your investment. Trip Advisor is brilliant, because you can access candid images and frank summaries which seek to prove what it’s REALLY like.
Don’t Just Fly
Flying can be a really expensive way to get somewhere, depending on where you’re going. Of course, there are some fantastic deals, but it’s not always a necessity. If you can car share with a group of you, driving around Europe is a cheap option, especially with the recent dip in petrol prices. You could also consider services like Megabus; for larger groups charter your own bus from International Coaches!
Consider Self Catering

Eating the local cuisine is brilliant when abroad, but it can soon add up if you’re eating all your meals in restaurants! Why not consider eating out for just one meal a day instead, and make lunch in your hotel or apartment? If that sounds like hell while away, why not look into all-inclusive options?

Tips For A New You In The New Year

by , in
So many of us set resolutions at the start of every new year, each time determined that this is the one where we’ll make all the changes we’ve been wanting to make for a long time. Each year, many of us fail miserably and end up feeling worse than we ever did before. For 2015, why not start smaller? Make a few changes to help yourself feel better overall, and the rest should follow naturally!
Look After Your Body
Instead of focusing on losing weight, dropping a dress size and so on, what not just focus on getting to a point where you’re happy and comfortable with yourself this year? Sometimes all it takes is making time to treat it right! Getting in a bit of exercise, eating whatever you want (but in moderation) and generally listening to your body and its need to rest might be all it takes. When you’re feeling run down, massages can really help. According to this article, they can have many health benefits – so why not vow to treat yourself every so often this year?!
Focus On Your Mental Health
Going into the New Year, do you really want your mind to suffer? So many of us neglect stress and other symptoms which are telling us that things just really aren’t okay. There are some basic first steps to ensuring that you’re looking after yourself in this area. First of all, make sure you’re not burning yourself out. Secondly, consider getting rid of negative drains on your life. Thirdly – focus on your dreams, your goals, and your aspirations. If this includes your professional development, then so be it – but remember to get that work/life balance. All employees can now apply for flexible working, so if this would suit you, maybe it’s time for a chat.
Make The World A Better Place
It might be a bit cheesy, but we could all do with being a little kinder to our fellow human beings. Even if you already do a lot for others, there are loads of ways you can pledge to do just a little more this year. Why not look at the Random Acts Of Kindness site, or perhaps your local Volunteer Opportunities site for more ways to make a difference? It’s not shameful to say that it’ll probably make you feel better, too!

Interesting Ways to Re-use Dead Flower

by , in

Flowers may look beautiful whilst they’re alive, but it’s a sad fact that they will eventually pass on to the big florist in the sky. However, just because your flowers have died, that doesn’t mean they don’t have their uses.
Here are some interesting ways you can re-use your flowers even after they’ve died…

Make potpourri
Making potpourri is probably one of the most obvious things to do with your dead flowers, but it’s also one of the most popular and most effective. Flowers smell great when they’re alive but they can still smell fantastic even after they’ve died and can make a lovely smelling air freshener for your living room, bedroom or bathroom. Potpourri is pretty easy to make – this article nicely explains how to do it.

Frame them
Framing dead flowers is a really interesting way of re-using them and can look fantastic if framed properly. Dry them out first and then either frame just the petals or you can do the whole flower; do it against a contrasting colour background (or white always works well) to really make them stand out. They look fantastic in pretty much any room of the house.

Jar the petals with a candle
Take the petals off the flower and place them in a glass jar along with a candle. When the candle is light, the petals will be beautifully illuminated. However, if the petals are dried out, remember to use an electric candle as otherwise there is a potential fire risk. This is becoming quite a popular way to give flowers at a funeral as the light in the candle is very symbolic, or can be done to regular funeral flowers once they die. For example the flowers from these wreaths from Flowers Same Day would look great even once they’ve died if put in a jar with a candle.

Put rose petals in tea or cakes
Rose petals are actually very flavoursome and can add a lovely scent and flavour to both tea and some cakes. You will need to wash the petals first, but putting a couple in a cup of hot water is a real treat.

Make cleaning products
If you want to make your own cleaning products then adding flower petals to them can give them a lovely scent. For example, you can make surface cleaner by blending a quarter cup of flower petals with one cup of baking soda and a tablespoon of salt. Experiment with different flowers’ petals for different results. Good Housekeeping has more info on making your own cleaning products.

Use them for compost or fertiliser
Out in the ‘wild’, dead flowers and plants are one of the main forms of nutrients for other flowers and plants and so you can help do your bit for the foliage food chain by using your dead flowers as compost or fertiliser to help other plants to grow. Simply place them around the base of other plants and as they decay they will feed the surrounding earth.

How to Create a Feminine Bathroom

by , in
A girl spends a great deal of time in the bathroom. Whether it’s washing their hair in the shower, putting on their make-up and checking what they look like in mirrors, or having a nice relaxing soak in the bath, most women spend at least half an hour both every morning and evening beautifying their selves. Creating a feminine bathroom doesn’t have to be expensive, you can find things on clearance or in the sales that will make the room look just as great. However, considering women spend more time in there than most men, it’s important it’s a place that women enjoy spending time in. Sometimes sharing a bathroom with a partner can affect how a bathroom looks; it can look plain and boring, meaning you want to spend as little time in there as possible. So we've put together a step-by-step guide on how to create a feminine bathroom to help you out.
Step 1
First you need rough idea of how you want your bathroom to look. Decide what overall style you want from your bathroom. Look on the likes of
Pinterest and home interior websites for inspiration. Once you’ve found an inspiration piece you can focus on it and it will help you with the next few steps. Make sure you love the inspiration piece as it will inspire you with your other choices. You may need to adapt it to suit your preferences and ensure it is practical.
Step 2
Next you need to decide what
colour scheme you would like in your bathroom. Choose soft colours that are graceful and feminine to help create a room that is soft and warm. This will help you to create a room which you can relax in and unwind after stressful days when you just want to jump in the bath.
Step 3
Create a feature wall. Feature walls have become very popular in modern households. You could use luxurious mosaic tiles on one wall teamed with a pastel coloured paint on the others. Vintage looking wallpaper also looks great to extenuate the walls. It’s a great way to create a feminine vibe that also feels glamorous.
Step 4
Create soft lighting your bathroom. This gives the room a romantic aura and is great for then you want to spend some 'you time' enjoying a bit of pampering. For this it might be worth installing a dimmer as you don’t want a make-up mishap because you can’t see properly. Then you can change the light depending on what you are doing.
Step 5
The next step is the exciting bit…furniture shopping! This normally depends on the colour scheme and style you are aiming for. Check out products that offer
storage solutions (after all us girls are known for being hoarders) and shop around to find the most stylish, affordable pieces that will help you to achieve the bathroom you are aiming for. It's worth spending that extra time shopping around to create your perfect bathroom.
Step 6
Fill it with gorgeous girly accessories and ornaments. Use mirrors, gorgeous scents such as diffusers, quotes that inspire you for the day ahead and other pieces such as flowers and storage boxes full of all your beauty goods are great to store in your bathroom. Make the most of all the space you have including under the sink and behind the door if you have a small bathroom. You’ll be left with a bathroom that makes you feel great for being female. Your partner will just have to cope with the girlyness because ‘he loves you’

I would love a modern bathroom with a big mirror , storage for my make up products and towels , a lot of scented candles and girly accesories.
How would look your perfect bathroom?

What to do if you suffered injuries

by , in
Hi beautifuls ,

Today I want to share with you some important information about personal injury claims. It's good to know what you can do when you suffer some injuries in an accident or at work etc.

Personal Injury is any type of injury wich has been caused to your body wheter a car accident , an accident at work, food poisoning , chemical injuries or a pavement accident etc. This term is also used to describe ilnesses or injuries resulting from clinical negligence and industrial diseases included asbestos related diseases.
You can make a personal injury claim for different reasons , the main reason is often to claim a compensation payment for the pain wich has been endured as a result of the personal injury .  Other reason can be the need of a a sense of justice of the person who was injured for themselves or a lost loved one .
Personal injury claims can be time consuming and complicated and that's why you need a team to guide you through the entire process as effciently as possible . Leo Claims work on a No Win No Fee basis where possible , meaning that if your case is unsuccessful , you won't need to pay a penny. They have decades of experience and a passion for justice and they also understand that being the victim of an accident is traumatic enough , which is why they try to pursue any case as quickly as possible.

Hope I helped you with some useful information .

Winter Wishlist

by , in
Hi beautifuls ,

Today I woke up with a shopping desire but I spend so much money lately and I can't afford spending more .
First of all I would love to have good SEO for my website to be placed higher in search engine rankings. It's important and every online person knows it. Total Media is a digital agency offering media planning and buying , SEO , paid search , social media and strategic insight and research. They offer a great service and I think they could help any businesses or bloggers to be found more easily and placed higher in search engine rankings.
Batiste dry shampoos are indispensable for me. I had Batiste Blush and now I bought Batiste Tropical and I love it. I didn't understand why everybody is so excited about it until I try it. I want to try them all!

You already know I love Jimmy Choo EDP , so is not a surprise that Jimmy Choo Stars is on my wishlist! ♥  This one was launched in 2014 .

Chocolate Bar from Too Faced is gorgeous!! I love all the shades and I will buy it at some point. It's quite expensive for my budget but when it's a must, it's a must.
I need a primer because I have oily eyelids. I had a mini size UD and I loved it. If you know a better one , please tell me.

I love Yankee Candles especially during winter , their perfume is so intense and a candle can be used a lot of times. I tried many brands but no one was better.

I had some vouchers for Newlook so I spend a lot of time searching for what to buy. I love their clothes and here are some items I wanna buy in the future :
This Tshirt is perfect for Christmas! Red , funny and with a penguin .These ankle boots are gorgeous but I don't know if I should buy it because I'm really tall.
I must have this pink blazer and black coat. It's like I design them myself and I really think they'll suit me perfectly.

My last but important thing from my wishlist is a new Nikon Camera . Mine is broken so a new one would be perfect for me .
What do you think about my wishlist? Would you like to do a post about what I bought lately?

Hello beautifuls ,

Last weekend was a special one because it was the 3rd Edition of Beauty Bloggers Meeting Cluj. Me, Anca and Cleopatra are the organizers of this event and we are very proud that this is our 3rd Event in Cluj . We have a lot of ideas for the Beauty Bloggers Community and I hope they'll come true.
Saturday at 3 pm we were at Atelier de frumusete- Farmec ( Many thanks to Farmec for helping us with this beautiful location) , trying to make sure everything will be perfect. Well, of course we had some bad luck and we were stressed but in the end everything was fine.
First person we met there was Luiza from Oriflame , she's such a nice and smart woman , it was a pleasure to have her with us.
The girls started to show around 4 pm , they were all beautiful as you can see . They are special ladies and their stories and their blogs inspire me. I saw a lot of passion for blogging and even if some of them are so busy with jobs , they are always working at their blogs. I always admired passionate people .
We talked for 3 hours about blogging ,about how to improve our blogs , some of the worst and best collaboration we had, the importance of bloggers in beauty and fashion marketing etc.

For our break we had some raw-vegan sweets from Rawana ( you can find them in Iulius Mall ) . It was my first experience with raw-vegan sweets and I was delighted. Really delicious!
Some of the goodie bags for our girls!

Luiza from Oriflame.

Aqua Carpatica is my favorite water brand and I'm happy they support us in every event.

Moschino Cheap and Chic EDP vs Dsquared 's She Wood EDP

by , in

Hello girls ,

I wake up early today because I really want you to read about two fabulous perfumes I discovered recently. I'm talking about Moschino Cheap and Chic eau de parfum and Dsquared²'s She Wood eau de parfum . First of all , I admit that I'm inlove with Cheap and Chic collection line from Moschino , I have at least 5 items on my wishlist and that's why I was happy when I tried Cheap and Chic perfume for the first time.
Dsquared is prefered by my brother , I saw some cool items and accesories for men but the She Wood Perfume has a really nice, feminine modern scent. If the Moschino line is on my wishlist for clothes , Dsquared perfume is prefered by me .

"A woman of style (certainly not a fashion victim!) Olive Oyl is the inspiration behind Moschino's bottle of Cheap and Chic. The fragrance witty, fun and attuned to the diffusion line of Cheap and Chic fashion. Formal, informal, young, mature, whatever ... but definitely sensuous. Sparkling and bright with the notes of bergamot, cyclamen, peony and jasmine, the fragrance warms to the base notes of sandalwood, vetyver and amber. Olive Oyl dressed to kill with a fresh and floral aroma."

I really loved Olive Oyl when I was little and maybe that's why I love the bottle of this perfume so much. I think it's chic, original and draws attention to itself. The scent of this perfume is fresh , flirty and sexy but it doesn't last for too long on my skin. ( Or I don't feel it ) .
In my opinion this is a great scent for  women who want a floral fresh with a little vanilla perfume that makes them  feel young despite their age . For me it's one of those perfumes that either you love it or you hate it . To be honest, sometimes I think it smells a bit like a hair-spray and that's why I prefer the She Wood.
Price : £36  for 50 ml
"Dsquared²'s She Wood perfume is a scented interpretation of nature’s vital and seductive elements... highly distinctive, radiant and inebriating. Wood, the theme and character of the perfume, reveals a sensual lifeblood that flows through the heart of the essence, warmed by rays of light that symbolise the head notes. Dean and Dan opt for a creative freedom in this scent, which brings a refined harmony of three chords: light, sap and wood."

If I love the Chic and Cheap bottle , the She Woods bottle doesn't impress me very much. It's elegant and cute but nothing spectacular.
The scent is unique that's why I prefer it. It's strong , woody , spicy , sexy and lasts for hours on my skin. I really feel the violets and the vetiver cedar and I like that. This is not a perfume for shy girls , it's strong , a little bit masculine but in a good way , it really gives you confidence when you wear it.
Price : £56 for 50 ml

Even if I love the bottle of Cheap and Chic perfume and has a good price, my favorite it's She Woods for it's unique scent.

What Props to use in your Autumn Photography

by , in

Using props in a photo shoot always adds a really interesting element to the photos as they add a personal aspect to them, and they’re also great for helping the person on camera feel a little more relaxed and natural.
If you have a photo shoot booked and it’s coming up soon, or you’re starting to look into companies like Venture that offer great shoots, we’ve come up with some inspiration regarding what props to use in a great autumn shoot.
Leaves are the obvious choice and they do really work wonders in an autumn themed photo shoot. The amazing colours and varieties that you can find can work well for any complexion/hair colour and for any age range. Use one or two ‘statement’ ones or go for a whole pile to walk through, throw or lie in for a really lovely, pretty autumn feel.

An ultimate autumn staple is the pumpkin, especially as they’re not just limited to Halloween with amazing pumpkin recipes cropping up almost everywhere at this time of year (also great for knowing what to do with them after the shoot!). Photos of pumping carving can be really sweet, yet they work really well without any gimmicks due to the bright colours and block shapes.

Channel British fashion when it comes to our weather and use an umbrella in your shoot. These can make for really romantic shoots or for sweet family photos if you’re all huddled together under one really big one. You could give little ones their own one too which will look cute, complete with matching rain coat and wellies for the full effect.
Wellington boots
Autumn is the ideal time for jumping in puddles and leaves, so wellies are a must! Little ones look adorable in wellies and they’ll absolutely love getting the chance to jump around in puddles and leaves getting messy.
Conkers and pine cones
Make a real occasion of going pine cone or conker picking as a family by incorporating them in your autumn family photo shoot. Using them to play a game is a really good way to create natural looking photos which will be great too if you’d rather showcase your family’s true personality rather than just having staged photos.

Apples, like pumpkins, seem to get really popular at this time of year and they make the perfect addition to an autumn photo as a result. Whether you want to go for toffee apples on sticks, barrels of apples or photos of you and your family apple picking, they make for really sweet photos that will have that cosy ‘apple pie’ feeling.
Cosy blankets/jumpers
Perfect for photo shoots in autumn featuring newborn babies or toddlers’, using a cosy blanket is the perfect way to give a photo that cosy and warm feel. Cosy blankets or big jumpers also make great additions to family or couple’s autumn photograph thanks to the romantic feeling they create, too.

5 things that improved my life

by , in
As a beauty blogger I am always in search of great products in order to make my life easier and better. Before starting this blog and studying more about skincare , beauty products , make-up and things related to this , I didn't know what a big difference it can do. For example , at 19 years old I had severe dermatitis , a different opinion about make-up and dull hair. But all of this changed in one day.
I'm really happy that I decided to be a blogger, I don't think I'm a talented writer and sometimes it's hard for me to find my words , but at least I try. This is something I encourage you to do , try to surpass yourself. It's the only way you'll improve and become a better person.
So the first thing that changed my life for the better, in the last few years,is my blog . I never imagined how much happiness this blog will bring me , some great friends and now a flatmate. I am proud of my accomplishments even if my blog isn't the best or the most read.

Make-up , skin care and hair care products are the second factor that improved my life. I'm happier because I know so much more about the good and bad ingredients in cosmetics, I recognize my complexion's needs and with make-up I'm able to look good even if I have a bad day. For example , Tangle Teezer is the only brush that detangles my hair properly , Bioderma Sensibio H2O is my favorite make-up remover because is super gentle and asian BB-creams improved my skin .

The third thing that improved my life is the fact that I work. For a short period of time I had a job that I disliked but now it's better , I like my current job and it keeps me busy. I'm in a bad mood when I have no occupation , I'm angry and quite unhappy.

Hanging out with friends or people I like was important for me because I had some bad moments in the last year, when everything just seemed so difficult . That helped me to stay positive and have confidence in myself.  It really helped that I was able to share my problems , happiness and thoughts with someone. I even start new friendships with some very nice people. I really like spending time with my friends . A day in the park , at a cocktail or a concert is perfect for me. Now I would love to go at the O2 Arena , maybe I'll buy some Alt J Tickets for January. Since I work for a British company , London is the city to go and O2 Arena has many concerts I would love to see.
My family is the main factor in keeping my life happy and God blessed me with two wonderful parents and a loving brother . I am more than thankful for my family. They offer me love , support and advice. anytime I need.

       What things improved your life?

Hugs and kisses,
Laura M
